Krista is a former member of the Alzheimer Society of BC and walked in the 2008 Walk for Memories on Sunday January 27, 2008 with her team.  This firm donated a further $500 to the Alzheimer Society of BC in 2008.

For the past three years, Krista has been a volunteer board member for St. Jude's Anglican Home, a multi-level care facility for older adults, including those with dementia.

Krista has been a long-time supporter of A Loving Spoonful and she extended her involvement to delivering groceries for six months on a weekly basis to a family struggling with illness.
